Take A Seat is a multi-media artist book created for my undergraduate capstone project (BFA Graphic Design). The book investigates identity through two contrasting perspectives: intuition and construction. The first section centers on intuitive collage-making, prioritizing process over interpretation to explore what might be revealed through unstructured creation. The second section examines identity as something constructed, presenting a visual archive of everything I owned, photographed and cataloged as a personal inventory. I designed, bound, and assembled the book by hand. The covers are screenprinted on leather. The book was displayed on the same chair that is featured on the cover.
